BEML Limited has won a ₹590 crore contract from the Ministry of Defence for the supply of trawl assemblies to be fitted on the Indian Army’s T-72 and T-90 tanks.
The agreement was formally signed in New Delhi between senior officials of both sides, adding a significant order to the company’s defence portfolio.
These advanced mine trawls have been indigenously designed and developed in collaboration with the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), with support from its R&D Engineers unit in Pune.
